For the past 2 days, I've practically been waking up at 6.30am and making errands here and there at the West side of Singapore, namely, Redhill and Dover. Well, on Thursday, I was requested by Singapore Poly to head down to their Enrollment Centre and get my student card done and so I did. The card making process only lasted for like 5mins but there were a whole lot of shit that awaited me after that. I entered rooms after room, from SP Student Union to Community & Social Services and in those rooms, they just persuaded me, non-stop, to join their camps. They had the FO Camp, the EEE Camp, the blah camp and the blah blah camp. It was total crap, and just when I thought it was all over, there was an Expo like CCA Fair going on. All in all, I ended up joining Campers Crusade, a Christian group in SP, the Sports & Recreational Club and suprisingly, Dragonboat. HahaAnd that wasn't all for Thursday, Gordon went to buy his laptop after that while Daniel came to collect his. Both took ages to get their stuff done and over with, which led to my arrival at my Father's office only at 5.45pm, a total of 10 hours at my future school. My Father and I then headed to Tiong Bahru Plaze to join my Mother and Sister for dinner at The Grill, which serves really sucky western and pasta. I'm never going back there to have a meal, ever. Enough about Thursday, let's talk about the shit that I had to go through today! Same time, 8am, I was at SP but this time, I wasn't requested to go down, it was compulsary. I had to bring my laptop down to SP to get the software bundles and patches for XP Pro, also known as Self Certification. Upon arrival, I was asked to take a seat at one of the tables and follow the Instruction Manual, the manual was 84pages thick and it stated every single process that had to be done. Just by taking a quick browse at the content page, I saw the words Partition, Format, Update, Patch. Upgrade, Run, CMD. I knew I'd practically spend my whole day there and yes, I did! I could've finished earlier but I encountered some connection problems with their LAN cable and I had to add in my own static IP address, which the SP students helped me with and failed miserably time after time and this led to the lecturer dealing with my laptop in the end. The students wasted like 30mins asking around, I think SP should get better help next time. SP stuff aside, SilkRoad is really pissing me off, the damn servers are always crowded and logging in seems almost impossible at night, pure bullshit. I'm currently really bored because there isn't and MMORPG for me to play, so it's either Audition or Warcraft 3 for me and boy am I getting sick of the latter. Anyway, anybody needs anything from Bangkok? I'll be heading there this Tuesday and will be back 2 days later. Leave me an SMS if you guys want anything. Haven't seen much media these few days so I won't be uploading anything today. Off to my Prison Break episode 21 I guess. By the way, if anyone is looking for me tomorrow, I'll be at ICA Building renewing my passport. Haha, maybe I'll hang out after that. Haha, tata! date: Monday, March 19

Look at the time, I still can't sleep. Am I suffering from insomnia? Haha. Well, since I can't really get my eyes shut, I might as well blog a little about today.Okay, to start the day off. I woke up at 10am today and joined my family for breakfast. Mother made sausages, ham and eggs with bread. A typical western breakfast, it was delicious. Food aside, my Father and I then sat in the living hall a 11am to catch the live telecast of the Melbourne Grand Prix. Kimi Raikkonen won and I'm glad he did because I'm a Kimi fan! I used to support him when he was driving for McClaren but ever since Montoya has gone, my love for F1 has sort of died off. Nevertheless, I am still on Kimi Raikkonen's side although he drives for Ferrari which I kinda dislike. Because of the lack of sleep the previous night, I took a "quick" afternoon nap after the F1 GP, little did I know that I slept for a long 4hours! When I got up, it was already 4pm+ and I started my computer and got a few games of DotA in before I left for dinner. Together with my Father and Mother, we headed to Vivo City, what memories I had there, for dinner. We ate at Marche and boy, was the place really small and crampy. As for the food they served, as usual, it was top notch. You guys can go patronise it if you're around there. It's on level 3 Alright then, I guess I'll stop here, the monitor is very glaring especially when all the lights are off. I'm literally straining my eyes but thats good, it make my eyes tired. Haha. title: Dentist woes

I have got it done and over with, alright man! If you're wondering what I have done. Well, I went to the dentist today and going to this dentist of mine has never been a looking forward thing for me. Why? First of all, I don't really take care of my teeth very well. Which means, when I visit him, Dr. Lee, he'll give me an earful. Secondly, I chipped on of my front tooth in 2001 and until now, it has always been giving me problems and it hurts to actually get it treated. Anyway, that aside. I did my Root Canal last year in October. Basically, a Root Canal is a process whereby the nerves of a tooth is removed when it is dead to prevent delay in the gums. At that time I thought that this Root Canal thingy was all I had to do with that dumb tooth of mine but little did I know I had to do Crowning. Which is the god damn reason why I had to go through so much pain today.I was at the dentist for a smacking 2hours! Just lying there, seeing nothing but the stupid light shining into my mouth. And everytime he pulls out all those weird and sharp looking tools of his, it is just nerve wrecking. Sounds fun eh? 2hours of thriller. He did numb my upper gum before the whole procedure started but he had to do it twice. Which meant that the thingy that he jabbed into my gums weren't even strong enough in the first place. So like I said, lucky me, I could feel what the hell he was doing most of the time. He practically filed off my tooth lah! Want to see the picture? So after the 2hours went by. I was glad it was all over and I would be entitled the privellege to never see him again but boy, was I wrong. He actually only placed a template. Which means, I've gotta go back for more. Lucky me eh?! To top it all off, I couldn't eat my dinner because he said not to touch food or water for 2hours. It started at 6.30pm and ended at 8.30pm. So after adding 2hours, 10.30pm, I had no appetite whatsoever. Right at this moment as I blog, I'm hungry! =) Okay, after much thought. I guess I'll just post the picture of my half filed away tooth. While Dr. Lee went to get something, I managed to whip out my phone and take a picture of it. So pardon me for the clarity, I did in a rush because if that nutcase saw me, he'd probably give me an earful again. He's an evil dentist. Viewer discretion is advised. Woke up at 9am today man! So early. I guess my body is used to it already. For the past few days, I kept waking up at 8.45am in order not to be late for work. It was 9am, so the normal thing to do was to go back to sleep. And you're damn right I did that. Finally got my ass out of bed at 12pm to meet Gordon at 1.20pm and the rest at Funan at 2pm. Today was all about timing. Having to do this and that by then and there.Anyway, the main purpose of me going to Funan was actually to get my keyboard and mouse but for everyone else, it was to watch the Funan Inter-School Gaming Challenge. The first team that I watched at the "Challenge" was some school wearing green pants and white shirt. Gan Eng Seng maybe? Man, are they lousy! They obviously pushed uber fast but thats basically because of their hero selection. Enigma, Furion, VS, Lone Druid and Warlock. Other than the fast pushing, I really felt that they sucked. Denying was like not even a priority to them. Going for Mega Creeps wasn't the best idea either. Think, the opponent had QOP, Magnataur, SK, WD and I forgot the last one but don't you think that these 4 can actually pawn them all? I doubt they're going any further than the 2nd round. Standard drop liao man! Like I said, I went there to get my stuff and here is a picture of what I bought. A Everglide T-1000 and Razer DeathAdder. Cost my card a whopping $147 and I typing with the new keyboard now. I kinda like the feeling and fast response but naturally, I'm not used to it. Same goes to the mouse, the arc is a bit big and weird. Well, just like my Samsung, I gotta get used to it. If not I'm practically wasting my money. Pictures! =)  date: Monday, March 12

Haha. It's over! The IT Show, which I was working at, has finally ended. Although I sold nothing on the first 3 days, I managed to squeeze in 5 sets on the last day. Yeah! I'm not happy because I earned a few hundred bucks but because I cracked that big fat 0 beside my name.Anyway, work aside, I'm really glad my Dad and Sister took the time off after church to come down on the last day of the Show to help me grab some stuff that I wanted. I told them a few days back that I wouldn't be able to leave my booth when I'm working. Mainly because my customers might come back and look for me. In fact, my Dad came down all 4 days to support me and on some days, even gave me a lift home! Thanks for coming! Same goes to Daniel, who came down to visit me but basket, why you never buy any laptops? Wahaha. Other than that, no one came to visit me. Jiaren "did" come to the show but somehow couldn't find my booth. Right? As usual, I'm pissed off at PhotoBucket as it is taking ages to load. Anyone out there knows of any other reliable sites like PhotoBucket? Not ImageShack please. I think their crap. If you're wondering what I'm trying to upload, it is actually a picture of my Samsung 940BW in action! A monitor that my Dad bought for me during the show! =D  My camera really sucks at night shots. That aside, it is so nice right. I'm practically in love with it. It also comes with a MagicStand which allows the base to swivel and the height to be adjustable! That means, I can watch movies and stuff while on my bed! Sweet! The black thingy at the bottom right-hand corner of the pictures is actually the Everglide Titan MonsterMat, a mousepad that I got at a great price, $19, at the IT Show date: Monday, March 5

Okay, I just finished a game of DotA with Sam and Ong, Obe Detroyer is rocks my socks! But then again, the opponent were newbies. So, doesn't really prove that it's good. Games aside, here's my entry for today. =)Almost more than a week since I last updated. Well, guess this will just be a round up of the week. Well, the week has been rather nice to me, didn't fall sick or anything. Watched two movies in all, Just Follow Law and Ghost Rider. Well, I have to say that the latter isn't really nice but wasn't really an eyesore either. Just Follow Law was great, although I expected it to be in Mandarin, it came out to be that the show was equally mixed with English, Mandarin and Hokkien. In addition, I also got a job selling laptops during this coming Sitex Show at Suntec. Not very sure about the basic and commision pay yet but I'm not expecting much because it's the 2nd time I'm working for them and man, are they stingy. I actually plan to sell as many sets of laptops as I can so that I can get a new keyboard, a Razor DeathAdder and a 19" or 22" LCD monitor. Sounds extravagant right? If I'm not wrong, that's going to cost me about $600-$700. Doubt I can earn so much sell laptops. Nevertheless, I'm still going to get them. By hook or by crook. Haha Dental appointment is actually this Tuesday but I called in to change the date in order to attend the laptop training. Man, the dentist is so going to kill me when he sees me, I was supposed to do my tooth crowning after my O levels and I've waited till now to do it. Thats what I call procrastinating at its best! Yeah! I managed to get the World Of Warcraft disc from JJ the other day and I'm actually patching it now. Damn it, 465mb worth of stuff to be patched. Took me about 1 1/2hours and it's at 91% now. Well, I'm going to do the trail for WoW first before deciding to get the starter pack and monthly subscripton thingy. Chances of me playing continuing after the trail period is quite high because I've got friends willing to help me out with gold and leveling, unless. Yes, unless, it is super boring and ridiculously stupid and a waste of time. Then, I won't play it anymore and just stop at the trail. It is like 3am now and once again, I have to be at church at 8.30am, great! About 5 hours to sleep before I get up at 8am. Well, nothing special, practically every Saturday night is like that for me and damn, it's becoming a bad habit of mine. I sleep at almost 3am everyday and get up at around 1pm. Sometimes when I get up, people are coming home instead of leaving and, I haven't had breakfast in a long long time. Quick, somebody ask me out for breakfast! Come to think of it, don't think anybody will ask me out. Not because I'm hated by everyone and stuff but because the friends of mine are. Let's say, very special. They can practically keep themselves at home for days and not even want to go out. Okay, I shall not gossip about my friends, gossiping is bad! Oh really? Oh well, I didn't come across any pictures or videos worthy enough to be placed here at my blog. So, guess it is just plain old text for today. Tata then! |
