title: Die Starhub
time: 3:22 PM

It has been 3 days and counting and Starhub hasn't been doing anything about their shit loaded internet connections. It's always the same old error, Network Cable Unplugged. I mean, come on lah, my wires corroded out of a sudden? My internet wires come out and go back in again? If it is just my PC, I can bear with it but even my sister is complaining about it. She practically can't download anything from the internet.

This coming week is going to be rather busy which some people don't believe for whatever the reason. Out of the 5 weekdays, I gotta see the bloody dentist again for my crowned tooth, meet up with the guys for Spidey 3, send my ever so sick Toshiba laptop for servicing at God knows which part of Kallang and pick a day to stay at home while the air condition people come service my room's air-con which is sadly, spoilt since last week. Last but not least, I gotta meet Angel. 5 days, 5 tasks, I don't even get to enjoy Labour Day man!

I actually felt like blogging more today but I just don't have the mood or feel like doing it right now. So, cheerios

title: The call
time: 4:15 PM

It has been 2 days since Poly started and I'm starting to get used to waking up super early for the 8am and 10am classes which I totally hate. I adapt fast eh? Haha. Anyway, what pleases me is that my lecturers are quite nice and friendly towards everyone, I find that utterly important when attending school.

Today went rather well for me. Before going to Bintan for golf, my Dad gave me a lift to Lavender so that I could take a direct train to Dover, he couldn't really send me directly to school because it was out of the way. The ferry was somewhere at Tanah Merah, anyway, thanks Dad! Upon reaching Dover, I met Gordon and we waited for Jun Jie before going on our quest to search for T6, which means Block 6. It was kinda far from the MRT station and quite deep in but we still managed to turn up before the lecturer did. =)

Lesson on Electrical and blah blah was freaking boring until the end when we started learning about Binary numbers. Haha, super fun to count. Next up was another Electrical and blah blah tutorial which I found quite interesting with all the prefixes and stuff involved. Well, according to our timetable, we weren't supposed to have any breaks but our lecturer let us out early because we sort of like had nothing else to do. So that was when I went to the library and borrowed the movie "i-Spy" starring Eddie Murphy and Owen Wilson. I don't know why but I'm really in to shows starred by Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrall. Sometimes the shows are really stupid but I still find it funny, I don't know why. Haha

Math lesson followed up at 11.30am and boy was it interesting. A few of my classmates ended up sleeping while some of us, including me and Jun Jie, decided to turn on our laptops to surf the internet or play games. His lesson was super boring, he thought well but it was just that whatever he thought, we learnt it in Sec 3 before and we still remember it extremely clearly. His lesson was relatively useless. The best part comes after all this, I took a train stop down to Clementi to collect my NFS: Carbon which I bought from a fellow forumer at only $35! Collector's Edition somemore! Hehe, then the 3 of us headed down to Bugis for lunch and I got scammed by the stupid, bloody fucking Indian Chapati man, he sold me a plate of white rice, some yellowish vegetables, a chicken drumstick and lamb rendang for $8.50! Bloody bangalah, I don't know why I didn't reason it out with him, maybe beacause he was too black and terrifying so I stupidly paid the amount and ate that piece of junk. Beware you retarded Indian Mama, I'll chop you into rendang the next time you quote me $8.50. And to top it all off, while running for the 145 bus at the Bugis bus stop, Singapore Post called me! At first, I thought I heard Singapore Pools but he repeated himself after I "Huh?" super loudly thinking why the hell SG Pools would call me. He told me that my Windows Vista has arrived and he could send it over tomorrow between 9am-1pm and of course, I agreed. Now isn't that a lovely day?

A picture of my Dad and I at Bangkok. Hope you have a good game of golf at Bintan, Dad! =)

title: 6 days
time: 7:59 PM

For the past 2 weeks, I've been away from home during the middle of the week, so much that there is a new hump on the road near my home. Haha, not really significant but it just shows how long I wasn't around. Anyway, I got to admit, both trips, one to Bangkok and the other to NSRCC's chalet, was really fun and nice.

Bangkok
Hmmm. My family and I actually decided to go there mainly because we wanted to go abroad for a holiday and somewhere cheap. So, viola! We went to Bangkok. We checked ourselves in at the Novotel Hotel in the heart of Siam Square, within walking distance to numerous shopping centres, which is why we practically shopped like crazy and I really mean crazy. We had 3 lugages when we boarded the flight towards Bangkok and we came back with 5. 2 more lugages filled with shit, rock on! Okay, recap lesson. What did I buy? Hmmm, okay. I bought 10 DVDs, 1 Billabong boarding shorts, 1 Bathing Ape hoodie, 1 USB ventilator, 1 iPod Nano silicon case and 1 really cute can opener. Not forgetting the 1000baht I spent buying Gordon's Warcraft 3 discs and the stupid 500baht on dental because my temporary crown came off. All in all, I spend about 4000baht which after converting, is about $173. Money well spent! Well, other than the shopping, my family and I did go Mango crazy and practically ate their Mangos for dessert for almost every meal. In addition, my sister and I did go for a swim on the last day at the bean sized swimming pool at the hotel. Overall the trip was great but I have to say, it was kinda ruined by SIA. On our way there, we had either the chicken or fish to choose from and when my Mother tasted the fish, it totally sucked and was barely even fresh. If that wasn't bad enough, on our way back, the games were not working and I couldn't play my mahjong game. Well, SIA, maybe you could upgrade your consoles to like a PS3 or something and get a decent chef, not those hawker centre types. Damn it

NSRCC Bungalow.
Well well, if it isn't the long awaited chalet. Why long awaited? Haha, I was actually asked to open a chalet for quite some time already but as usual, I procrastinated and procrastinated but after my family's own chalet at the exact same place, I decided that maybe it'd be fun after all and so, just before I left for Bangkok, I asked my Mother to get it booked for the following week. Organising, planning and getting people was more or less a great disappointment because help was really hard to find and. I shall not go on, it's over. So to hell with the past! Gordon, Defu and I, together with my Mother, took a taxi down on the first day to check in and everyone else started pouring in about 30mins later. Great attendance on the first day and the BBQ. Haha, actually, great attendance for both days! We were all kept occupied with the PS2's soccer, wrestling and mahjong until about 6pm when they started the BBQ. In between, a few of us also went down to the basketball court for some games whiched resulted in me having a aching right arm. BBQ wise, I believe everyone ate to their full and we continued the mahjong and PS2 until some of them left for the last shuttle bus at 10.30pm. The rest of the girls clear out at about 1.30am and it was all the guys that were left. We opened a bottle Vodka and went on with our mahjong until the Man United game started. It ended with a 7-1 scoreline and 3 of us awake. Haha, the rest stoned off halfway and went upstairs to get their sleep. I didn't manage to sleep much because of Gordon and Ziliang's "Surround Sound" snoring, so I sleep at the ever-so cold living room. Morning came and Jiaren and Defu were the first 2 to get up and Jiaren went off to make his breakfast, some instant noodles. The both of them wasted no time and started with the PS2 which eventually woke me up. Gordon was up next and due to the lack of players for a mahjong game, Jun Jie was dragged out of bed to join us. Mahjong continued and slowly 1 by 1 the rest came down. With empty no food in our tummy, except Jiaren, we left for the street soccer court for a match. It was scorching hot and tiring that the 8 of us present couldn't last the full 1 hour that we booked the court for. So it was back to the Bungalow and more mahjong and PS2. All of us were suffering from dehydration and the lack of food, so we ordered 4 Canadian Pizzas and 1 bottle, I repeat, 1 bottle of Green Tea to feed the 10 of us. No complains about the pizzas but Jia Heng, why 1 bottle? After eating and drinking, guess what? Back to mahjong and PS2! Angel and Ping Yuan came later on and brought us gold! They brought the ever-so important additional charcoal and drinks. Life savers, literally and it was Wednesday! Haha. the shirt. Then it was BBQ time, this time, it was the Girls vs Boys for food. Haha, okay, we underestimated everyone's eating appetite and bought too little BBQ foodstuffs. So it was Jia Heng, Zhen Yang, Yi Cong vs Meihui, Shushen and Ying Xuan. We didn't have any winner but everyone got to eat, I suppose. Then like a routine, it was back to mahjong and PS2. The girls and some guys left earlier this time round and it was back to the guys, wine and last but not least, mahjong and PS2. Yi Cong brought the 300 DVD so the guys watched the movie while I washed the dishes. They're so evil right? Nah, I volunteered and I soon realised that volunteering is a definite no no. The next morning, we checked out at 9.45am and waited for the first shuttle bus at 10.15am, we sat there for 1/2 hour and we missed it! Haha, we power. The had "Parkway Parade" stickers on it, so we thought it wasn't the bus we were waiting for but we were so god damn wrong. So we played cards at the shuttle bus stop for 1 1/2 hours before the same fucking bus came back again. We alighted at Tanah Merah MRT, Yi Cong went to play Survivor in the forest while Zhen Yang and Jun Jie waited for him and the rest of us, half dead, took a taxi home

title: Who let the dogs out?
time: 3:18 AM

I'm back in Singapore after a few days in Bangkok. And boy, did I do a lot of shopping. Haha, more about Bangkok later. Here is actually a video that I took of my dog before I went to Bangkok but I didn't have time to upload it the other time. So here it is, I personally think it's cute. Enjoy! =)
