Just finished a game of Dota and I am super high! The game was so hyped from start to the end, and The Scourge actually won! I always had this thinking that unless friends, the people on Scourge are either super newbies or leavers.The Sentinel was a group of 5 friends and Scourge consisted of me and 4 other people. They picked Juggernaut, Potm, Beastmaster, Orge Magi and SF while we picked DK, BB, Tinker, AM and I randomed a Bounty. They started off really well with Orge and BM catching helpless people like Tinker and myself. We even lost half of our middle rax during midgame all beacause of a lack of defending on everybody's part. Nevertheless, we managed to slowly fight our way back by trying very hard to control the lanes and farm up. Our BB upped his Radiance, Heart, Vanguard and we were all set to barge down their middle rax to no avail with at least 2 heroes per side dying at each engagement. The cycle went back and forth for quite some time until Sentinels decided to split up and push. Although we employed a different strategy, it worked. Instead of splitting up to defend the seperate lanes, we defended in groups of 5, which is practically everyone. Seeing us defend that way, The Sentinel actually changed their strategy and rushed into our mid, which had no towers. They then went on to bottom and took down our tower and 2 raxes but we didn't let them have it without a fight. We actually managed to kill 4 of them. 4 raxes down, any team would have typed "GG" but we didn't. As all of us were alive, BB and DK rushed to top lane to take down their tower and rax with Juggernaut harassing but the thickness and both their lives managed to ward off Juggernaut in his attempts to stop them. Meanwhile, me and Tinker frantically pushed bottom lane back out, by then, BB and DK had already proceeded to middle lane for the raxes. The whole team gathered at bottom lane tower and we took everything down in one last breathe and all of us got cleared. They decided to give up, so we all teleported down and cleared the Tree. The whole game lasted almost 2 hours. Definitely worth wasting 1/12 of my day. Sill on the topic of Dota, I actually managed to find myself a team for the upcoming CAPL Season in October. I'm not sure if I'll last all the way with the team because who knows, some uber player might just come along and take my spot in the team. Haha, I haven't really played an actual draft match with them yet but I hope it will turn out fine. It is like 2.40am right now, time for me to snooze for tomorrow, I will go on a search for the nicest Mugs for Mrs Tan and Thiru! For Teacher's Day, of course. date: Wednesday, August 22

For those of you who had read the newspapers, Manchester United has just signed a 9 year-old boy. You might be thinking, is United nuts? At first I thought they were going crazy after the Carlos Tevez thing and not being able to get him and stuff that led them to sign a 9 year-old but boy was I wrong.
