title: Singapore GP Day 1
time: 2:07 AM

Ah, finally the end of Day 1 of the world's first night race, the Singapore GP. I'm totally exhausted after walking from Gate 7 to Gate 1 in the afternoon sun with my Dad just to see what the F1 Village has to offer. Well, they had dedicated BMW, Ferrari, McLaren and Toyota booths which boasts of many pretty saleswomen and really expensive merchandises. I was rather tempted to get a shirt from BMW but decided to give it a more thorough thinking before committing a whopping $200 for a shirt.

Okay now to the main point for the day, if you ever decide to get tickets to the race. Be it tomorrow, day after or next year. Never, I repeat, never ever get the Bay Grandstand tickets. The view totally sucks, especially the Dark Blue section. Sadly, those were my tickets and throughout the practice race today, I could only see the cars for about 5-6 seconds each as the straight was only around 300-450m long and the turns going in and out of the straight was blocked by the stupid layout of the grandstand. Since I walked around and saw quite a few grandstands, I will have to say the best is the Marina Grandstand. For $698, you'll get to see the car charging down from the Esplanade straight and into a series of turns. Together with a television display just across the road, it's definitely the best seat you can get for less than $1000. I'll most probably get those next year. With that, I can say that although I really liked the atmosphere and sound during the race, the view really disappointed me. Here's a few pictures taken with my Dad's camera. I'm too lazy to upload mine because they are huge in file size.

I'll be there around 4pm tomorrow and if anybody wants to meet up with me, just drop me a message. I'm always around Gate 7. Cheers!

title: 20 days
time: 10:58 PM

What a joke. In my last blog post, I stated that I will talk more about my week on the next day but it actually took me 20 days to finally do it. Now, that's massive procrastination. Now let me try and recall what I wanted to say 20 days earlier.

Well, 20 days earlier, I was out of a job after I got screwed over by my supervisor. You see, I was hired by OCBC Bank to help with some software installations for some of their PCs in the OCBC Centre at Raffles. I was told it was a 7 day job and was to start on Thursday all through to Friday excluding weekends. Myself and two other friends were hired. During the application, I told them that I would not be able to work on the first Friday as I had my Math 2B paper and they agreed and I was to work 6 days. We were briefed about our tasks on the first day and went on to do a really speedy and good job leaving my supervisor rather surprised. Little did we know that this was more of a project, which meant that once we were done with it, they didn't need us anymore. 2nd day of work and I was sitting for my exams in school while the two of them were busy at the offices. Then, I got a call. My friend informed me that we didn't have to go to work anymore because we already completed the tasks that we had to do.

This triggered to a whole lot of chain reactions. I wasn't able to go work with my other friends because I already turned their job offer down for this, which paid better and was nearer to my home, and they already had enough staff at their side. That left me with no other job offers while my friends had. This also meant that every time we wanted to hang out, we could only go on Friday nights so that the "working people" won't be too tired for work the next day.

I was so bored that I actually decided to do a makeover for my room. So for the past 20 days, I've been doing nothing much. I'm either at home playing Silkroad Online or I'm out with Jiaren looking for his Japanese dolls or looking at furnitures. I've more or less decided to get all my furniture from Ikea even though they're not exactly very cheap when compared to others but I just like their wide range of products that can be customized to fit my needs.

Anyway, with the help of a few of my friends. My room has been completely repainted to Stonecave Grey and White. A combination that suits my window grills, and floor rather well and I'm very happy. Pictures will be up when everything has been completed with the furniture.

Before I end this mega post, I'd like to give a shout out to Jiaren, Gwee and Jun Jie for helping me with the painting for 2 whole days, Thank You guys! I owe everyone beer and I promise, it'd be top-notch beer

title: Let the holidays begin!
time: 12:30 AM

It has been some time since I last updated, as usual. I just came back from Anchor Point a few hours ago and I finally found the shop that the forumers have been talking about these few days and got myself a really nice and unique deck of cards.

Will blog more about my week tomorrow. Quite tired now. So, off to bed!
